Urban Design Graduate Program

In collaboration with its partner universities, the UDC has developed a new graduate program of study in urban design. The inaugural class of both domestic and International students commenced in first semester 2007, producing its first graduates in 2008.

The Urban Design Graduate Program is offered by The University of Western Australia's Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts, with the unique advantage of delivery through the Urban Design Centre of Western Australia. Core theory seminars and the design studio are held at the UDC's city location, while Option units are taken at the UWA campus in Crawley.

The Program offers four qualifications designed to cater to students entering the field of urban design from different backgrounds and with different career objectives: formal urban design study can be pursued as a route to a career in urban design, or as a different way of thinking for architects, landscape architects, planners or other professionals whose work impacts the shape of the city.
