Since his appointment as Director General of the Department for Planning and Infrastructure in 2002, Greg has consolidated the services of separate agencies responsible for policy, planning, regulation and administration of land use, transport and Crown Land. Previous appointments include Commissioner of Main Roads Western Australia, Executive Director for Metropolitan Transport in the Department of Transport in Western Australia, and Program Director Main Roads on secondment from the Commonwealth Government. He holds Engineering and Commerce degrees from the University of Western Australia, a Masters degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Graduate Diploma in Urban Systems from Swinburne College (now University) of Technology.
