Ian Stanger BSc (Hons) MSc MRTPI
Urban Designer |
Ian is a town planner and urban designer from Glasgow with 15 years professional practice in British planning and urban regeneration. His experience has spanned a wide range of urban design frameworks, regeneration strategies and masterplan studies and he brings a Western European perspective to the knowledge and skills base of the Urban Design Centre. Above all, he believes that urban design should be people-friendly in both process and outcomes. Ian first visited Perth in 1988 as a teenager and has returned every decade since. Twenty years on, he is excited to be back in WA and pursuing his career at the UDC at a significant time when there are major city projects in the pipeline and other unique opportunities to enhance Perth as an attractive, contemporary and sustainable place. |
